2021 Municipal Election Candidate Endorsements

October 1, 2021

The Red Deer and District Labour Council has voted on municipal endorsements and we are proud to share our support for a number of candidates for this year’s upcoming municipal election.

We feel that these candidates represent values that align with the priorities of working people and we encourage our members and workers to take a look at these candidates and consider voting for them and volunteering on their campaigns.

Election Day is October 18th and the first Advance Polls open on October 1st. You can find out more about where and when to vote on the City of Red Deer website.

As part of the Canadian Labour Congress founded in 1956, Labour Councils across the country have been active for decades. Our Stronger Communities Together municipal program guides our activity throughout and in between municipal elections.

With this election taking place during a pandemic, it has made efforts to connect and engage in person more difficult. We welcome any of our affiliate members, candidates or members of the public to contact us at rddlc1@gmail.com
